Museum Consulting
THE AMERICAN MUSEUM THEATRE ASSOCIATES (AMTA) is an active wing of The American Historical Theatre. For the past ten years, the Associates have been engaged in helping museums and historic sites to create professional theatrical first person interpretive programs and events. Consultations have ranged from an integrated theatrical program for the new National Constitution Center in Philadelphia to the training of volunteers and docents for Rocky Mountain Historic Site in Tennessee, and new programs for Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington.
